HI!

When I graduated high school, I went to Northeast Louisiana State College on a little scholarship.
Immediately, when I moved into the dormitory, I knewit was NOT “home”!
I felt UNsettled!

Later, I joined the USAF, and went to
Lackland AFB for basic training.
Again, it was NOT “home”!
Then, Keesler AFB for more training.
Not “home”!
Then, Clark AFB in the Philippines.
Not “home”!

Then Barksdale AFB.
Ann & I bought a house there.
HOME!! SETTLED!!

After leaving the USAF, I went to work for
Safeway Stores, Inc.
We moved MANY times!
But EVERY PLACE was “home”!

What was the difference?
I KNEW that I had a “home” with “family!”

Eph 3:14-15
4 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
KJV

_THOUGHT________

Sadly, most of the people of the world today live without the SOLIDITY of family.
Tremendous numbers of children are reared in broken families.

But people CAN have a “family” in Jesus!
Notice the Scripture above.
Paul does not say “families,” but “family”!

All who are truly “in Christ” are ONE!

Each Christian derives our PERSONAL status from Christ Himself.
And, the local church provides the atmosphere for a FAMILY in Christ!

Do YOU have a place in which you are SETTLED?
You CAN have that through a local church.

1Cor. 12:20 says, “But now indeed there are many members yet one body!”

You can be “SETTLED” in the “FAMILY” of Christ in a local church.
If you are truly a Christian, you will WANT TO BE with your FAMILY in Christ!

BE WITH your FAMILY in Christ!
Make it a HAPPY PLACE!
Make it a place of LOVE!
